Your client receives an email with a link, they click the link and answer five questions from our AI Assistant. You get the audit pack. You decide.
$9 per completed intake. No subscription, no set-up fee. ID checks and company searches only when you order them. For conveyancers, lawyers, real estate agents, accountants and every firm covered by Tranche 2.
Assistant Hello. I'm the KYC TODAY assistant. I'm an AI, and this recording explains what I do for firms that are now reporting entities under Australia's anti-money-laundering laws.
Assistant Since the first of July 2026, real estate agents and buyers' agents, property developers, conveyancers, lawyers, accountants, trust and company service providers, and bullion dealers and jewellers taking cash or crypto payments of ten thousand dollars or more must complete customer due diligence on every designated service: identify the client, verify them, understand the purpose of the transaction and the source of funds, identify who owns or controls a company or trust, screen for politically exposed persons, assess the risk, and keep the record for seven years. For most firms that is a form, a chased driver licence, and the best part of an hour of staff time per file.
Assistant Here is what changes. Your firm sends the client a link. The client opens it on their phone and I conduct a ten-minute conversation. I introduce myself as an AI, I tell the client the call is recorded and why, and I proceed only when they agree. I ask the same five questions every time, in the same words. I never give advice, I never suggest that anything is suspicious, and I never decide anything.
Assistant Within the hour your firm receives the audit pack: a structured summary of what the client said, every answer linked to a timestamped quote, the consent record, the items your officer still needs to verify, and a named-decision box. Your compliance officer reviews it and records the decision. The record shows who decided and when, and it cannot be edited afterwards.
Assistant Pricing is simple and you only pay for what you use. The intake and the audit pack cost nine dollars per completed intake, with no subscription required. If you prefer a plan, Starter is one hundred and forty-five dollars a month for twenty intakes, Growth is three hundred and ninety-five dollars for sixty, and Enterprise plans for multi-office firms and networks start at nine hundred and ninety-five dollars. The intake records what the client stated. If your compliance officer wants that confirmed, searches are ordered from the file and charged per search: an identity document check against the issuing authority is about four dollars, a liveness face match about two, a politically-exposed-person and sanctions screen about three dollars a name, and a company extract about twenty dollars. Every search result is attached to the audit pack with the provider, the time and the reference.
Assistant The pilot programme. This month we are onboarding five founding-partner firms at half the published rate for the first three months — four dollars fifty per intake, or seventy-two dollars fifty a month on the Starter plan — followed by a thirty per cent loyalty discount for twelve months. There is no set-up fee, you can cancel on seven days' notice, and your firm keeps every audit pack.
Assistant Two commitments. First, before any real client file is processed, every part of the service runs on Australian-hosted infrastructure, confirmed in writing. Second, this service supports your firm's AML/CTF program; it does not replace it, and it does not claim to make you compliant. Your officer, your program, your decisions.
Assistant To see it, request a pilot briefing. We will send you a link, you will try it on your own phone with your own matter type, and you will have the audit pack within two hours. Thank you.
Assistant Hello, this is the compliance intake assistant for Example Conveyancing. I'm an AI assistant, not a person. This call is recorded, and the information you give is collected because Example Conveyancing must verify its clients under Australia's anti-money-laundering laws. Everything you say will be reviewed by a qualified person at Example Conveyancing before any decision is made, and nothing is decided by me. You can stop at any time by saying "stop". Are you happy to continue? Please say yes or no.
Client Yes, that's fine.
Assistant Please tell me your full legal name, exactly as it appears on your driver licence or passport, and your date of birth.
Client Jane Marie Example, fourteenth of March nineteen eighty-six.
Assistant What is your current residential address, and what is your occupation?
Client Twelve Sample Street, Parramatta. I'm a registered nurse at Westmead.
Assistant In your own words, what is the transaction or service Example Conveyancing is helping you with?
Client We're buying a house in Castle Hill to live in. First home.
Assistant Where will the money for this transaction come from? For example savings, the sale of another property, a loan, a gift, or a business. If more than one source, please list each.
Client Mostly our savings, a loan from CommBank, and Mum and Dad are giving us forty thousand.
Assistant Just to confirm: savings, a bank loan, and a gift from your parents. Is that right?
Client Yes.
Assistant Are you acting for yourself, or on behalf of a company, trust or another person? If a company or trust, who else owns or controls it? And finally: do you, or does an immediate family member or close associate, hold or have you held a senior public position, in Australia or overseas?
Client Just me and my partner Tom. No companies or trusts. And no, nobody in politics or anything like that.
Assistant Thank you. That's everything I need. A qualified person at Example Conveyancing will review this information and contact you if anything else is required. You'll receive a written summary from Example Conveyancing. Goodbye.
